Hypersensitivity and psychoresonance | music to heal

hypersensitivity, discomfort increasingly felt by part of the population and by the youngest, leads to a distance with situations and people. So, to avoid suffering, we move away… But who or what are we really moving away from? Faced with this, how are music and frequencies related to hypersensitivity and how can music act to help regain a comfort of sensitivity?

The soul acts on the encounter: it is the magic of the encounter. The encounter with another living being or with another energy creates a before and after. Likewise, the encounter with oneself creates a before and an after. The encounter with oneself psychoresonance promotes a harmonization of the being: mental/reflection, emotional/heart and body/action agree in connection, in completeness. A harmonization allowing you to be in comfortable contact with your sensitivity.

  1. Hypersensitivity
  2. Self-expression AND Self-listening
  3. Psychoresonance

1) hypersensitivity

How to recognize if you are hypersensitive?

What are the difficulties encountered by the hypersensitive and what are their resources?

Because yes, there are treasure resources in the hypersensitive, as Fabrice Midal shares in his book Am I hypersensitive?.

Innate according to some, hypersensitivity is however often a result of stress, emotional shocks, acquired reaction modes or post-traumatic stress (PTSD).

Today, 1 in 5 people is said to be hypersensitive!

There are 3 elements common to all hypersensitive people:

  • Very intuitive, the hypersensitive is very much in touch with perceived emotions: The “emotional antennae” of the hypersensitive are highly developed because the hypersensitive is deeply affected by the mood and emotions of others.
  • He is more affected by the emotions of others: The hypersensitive person is very focused on external emotions that risk causing him discomfort.
  • The hypersensitive is first connected to what surrounds him, before being connected to what is in him: This leads to increased vigilance and exacerbated sensations!!

To avoid this feeling of hypersensitivity, the hypersensitive will try to understand what is happening while preferring to isolate themselves so as not to suffer. At the same time, he develops the ability to get to the bottom of things and is able to practice individual sports and cultural activities. When emotionally impacted, he needs time to make decisions. To make the right decisions, he develops a perfectionist side.

Elaine N. Aron, American psychologist specializing in hypersensitivity, author of the book Hypersensitive, understand yourself better to accept yourself better points out that hypersensitivity is not reserved for the introvert. According to her, 70% of hypersensitive people are introverted and 30% are extroverted.

She also shares the qualities expressed by the hypersensitive:

    • More adept than others at perceiving errors and avoiding them;
    • Extremely conscientious, show concentration, precision and intense vigilance.
    • Constantly in a search for learning

The difficulties of the hypersensitive

Excessive preoccupation with what others experience emotionally generates problems of fatigue and significant stress.

The hyper-responsiveness to words and actions coming from outside leads to actions that are too quick and lack accuracy.

Hypersensitivity can also generate sleeping problems!!

Rumination… As the hypersensitive is enormously on the lookout for all the surrounding information, he captures a lot of data, which he processes, analyzes, studies… This requires a lot of energy from the mind, which no longer knows how to stop.

The emotional troubles in turn cause bodily tension.

Difficulty choosing and low serotonin levels are other disadvantages feeds hypersensitivity.

“My heart swings… between hypersensitivity and insensitivity”

Indeed, to suffer too much from hypersensitivity, the hypersensitive tend to cut themselves off and become insensitive in certain situations. This can be necessary and life-saving in the short term, but can generate a cut to his sensitive world. The ideal is to balance our sensitivity. It’s time to give yourself the right to be fully sensitive and to get out of all the injunctions against the expression of sensitivity and emotion like “Don’t be so sensitive!” “.

Hypersensitivity and insensitivity are on the same rope, one at one end, the other at the other end.

At these extremes, it is suffering that is generated, since the hypersensitive or insensitive person will end up cutting themselves off from their sensations, their emotions to avoid suffering. The path to healing is more about giving yourself the right to be sensitive: Being sensitive is on that same string, right in the center of the string. It is through this correct sensitivity that we can feel and act correctly in connection with the world around us.

Towards the coherence of the heart : cardiac coherence

Faced with the difficulty of choosing and regulating emotions, as well as to raise the level of serotonins, cardiac coherence is suitable and has largely proven itself. Go for it! It’s easy and effective: breathe in heart coherence!

Serotonin (whose cardiac coherence activates secretion) is a neurotransmitter that produces the feeling of well-being, positivity, inner peace and harmony. It increases motivation to act, and improves sleep! It helps to reduce stress.

The hypersensitive has less filter to protect itself from external stimuli, it has a difficulty of adaptability. However, the ability to adapt is extremely important in life. Like cardiac coherence, which makes it possible to amplify our adaptability and our positioning in relation to more or less stressful daily events, filtered music, used in psychoresonance, also has all its interest by offering presence and the ability to adaptation.

Hypersensitivity: frequency mirror

Correspondence frequencies and physical body

frequencyThere are many correspondences between frequencies and the physical body. Whether with the psychophony of Marie Louise Aucher, or with the Tomatis method, the Bérard method, holopsonia, psychoresonance, we realize that there is a relation of resonance and a symbolic relation linked to a psychological problem.

Here is a table of frequency relationships (numbers noted in Hz) with the physical body.

In a few words, to a given frequency corresponds a place of the body, to which corresponds a physical problem, an emotional problem and a mental problem.

Likewise, our emotional hypersensitivity is inscribed in our auditory and vocal frequency hypersensitivity.

This will therefore be able to be harmonized by the frequencies and the music in a context of adapted musical and frequency listening.

2 ) Self-expression and Self-listening

How can we rediscover this link from which hypersensitivity separates us?

And if the first step would rather be to listen fully.

Thomas d’Ansembourg, author of the famous book “Stop being nice, be true” says these few words taken from a video interview about listening versus self-expression:

“Most of the time in our societies, in our education, the only axis that is valued, encouraged, is self-expression.

We talk very very very little, if not ever, about listening. And so most of the time we have no training in listening. Very very often we don’t know how to listen… Listening, I remind you, is to shut up (be silent). It’s closing it completely to be completely with the other…

It’s ordinary brutality for me not to let the other get to the end of his sentence… and even not to respect the fact that the other needs a moment of silence after his sentence. The sentence is the emerged part of consciousness. Consciousness has taken words that have been said. And when the words are said and a time of silence is respected, the consciousness continues its course within…

Not listening is really one of the basic sources of our misunderstandings: badly listened to, badly heard…”

  • Learn to listen to yourself this is also what psychoresonance will allow. Learn to listen to yourself in a framework of self-love, then learn to nurture your harmony with yourself and life, and learn to express it with joy.
  • Practice the cardiac coherence, meditating, listening to balancing music promote a framework of listening to oneself and one’s interiority.
  • Make music, Learning to improvise, whatever your level, is extremely liberating and strongly stimulates your ability to listen. In the “Music of Instinct” training, aimed at non-musicians, musicians and non-improvisers, listening to music, listening to oneself, listening to one’s emotions, are valued. Thus, listening goes hand in hand with the expression of one’s uniqueness of being. Bringing together speaking and listening brings full presence to what is. • In a sound treatment, another space to develop listening, the person finds himself enveloped in sounds, music and therefore frequencies. A moment of resonances and vibrations that the entire physical body receives, from the feet to the head via the ears…;) In the specific sound massages that I call “sound journeys”, there is a multitude of instruments: Tibetan bowls, accordion, drum, koshi chimes, overtone singing, kalimbas… This offers a diversity and richness of harmonics and frequencies specific to sound journeys. In these sound journeys are also incorporated the tools of psychoresonance.

3) psychoresonance

The resource moments offered by psychoresonance will come to rebalance our sensitivity: revitalize where there is a lack of energy (hyposensitivity, lack of frequency) and attenuate excess sensitivity at the same time.

Psychoresonance is building oneself through encounters with oneself. Reliances with Self registering in the conscious and in the unconscious at the same time. With the wonder of being oneself and of embodying it more and more, with the gratitude of that, with the serenity of that. Psychoresonance is a healing technique through music and frequencies, through the voice, for its own way. Some psychoresonance tools incorporate a self-to-self auditory loop. Psychoresonance plays on the innate resources of the person.

It accompanies to:

  • Be more attentive to oneself, and in a more coherent expression of oneself
  • Cerebrally revitalize the center of questions, imagination, possibilities
  • Increase your connection with your subconscious.
  • Cultivate the wonder of being yourself
  • Connect with yourself and life with more presence
  • Promote concentration, creativity, language development
  • Get out of sleep disorders
  • Getting out of depressive tendencies with beneficial effects in the face of behavioral disorders

How ? Face-to-face or remotely (via neuro-musical reprogramming guides) the music and the frequencies will echo the frequencies sensitive to our listening. By re-learning, by a gradual solicitation of the sensitive frequencies of the ear, the development of listening increases, as indicated by the law of hormesis. By listening to one’s voice in a frequency context of deep self-presence. By the care by the music that offers to the unconscious a restructuring sound journey of meaning and harmony. To learn more about psychoresonance: click here.
